GRAPHITE WORK:
The drawings are all graphite on paper. The exceptions are “Black Moon Rising” and the piece titled “20 Pieces”. They are done on gessoed canvas mounted to a wood panel. “20 Pieces” is actually 20 separate drawings made in the same manner and are installed using velcro. The sculpture,”Nose”, is shaped wood surfaced with gesso and covered with graphite as is “Bullet”. “Button” is built on fiberglass filled with Bondo and surfaced with gesso before applying graphite. The Horizontal / Vertical Grid is on paper but a newer version is on gessoed canvas on a wood panel and is 4 ft. x 4 ft.
