Bruce Wallin was born in Fullerton, California and lived in Venice Beach, a part of Los Angeles, until moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2003. He was educated in the California State University system, Art Center College of Design, and the University of the Americas in Mexico City. In addition to practicing his own Art he taught Art at CSU Los Angeles, CSU Fullerton, CSU San Bernardino, and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Wallin also served as Assistant to the Regional Representative for the National Endowment for the Arts (Western Region), and as an administrator at Brockman Gallery Productions, an African American Community Arts Agency in South Central Los Angeles. He worked at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu and at Brentwood, California before moving to New Mexico. Wallin has exhibited in California and nationally.
