Administrative
• Brockman Gallery Productions / An African American Community Arts Agency: Supervised the activities of 17 professional artists and Musicians (Among them the musical group “Hiroshima” and muralist Kent Twitchell). Maintained monitoring and reporting procedures. Designed training programs. scheduled and coordinated special events. Directed agency research activities. Planning and policy formulation. Participated in Hiring and termination procedures.
• National Endowment for the Arts: Consulted to the Regional Representative during initial set-up of Los Angeles office. Subsequently joined staff as Assistant. Managed office, coordinated and implemented Regional Representative’s activities and travel. Report writing.
Curatorial
• Brockman Gallery Productions: Developed Schedule for art exhibitions to be held in B.G.P.'s gallery and in the community. Curated, designed, and installed exhibitions. Sites included Brockman Gallery, CSU / Dominguez Hills Art Dept. Gallery, Los Angeles City Hall, USC Student Union, Offices of the Governor of the State of California, and the William Grant Still Community Art Center.
Preparations
• Cooke’s Crating: Transport and installation of art in museums, galleries, private homes and offices in California and other states.
• J. Paul Getty Museum: Malibu and Brentwood California. Hands on attention to the museum’s collection. included crating, transport, installation of art and gallery furniture.
